About Me I’ve loved dogs all my life and my mother could always prove it with this photo. A neighbor took this snapshot of me when I was just a year old and always wanted to play with their family pet. And, to this day, I’m still one of those people who “never met a dog I didn’t love”. I’ve always really enjoyed having lots of hobbies, too. In fact, I’m very guilty of having my house littered with the latest project or two that I’m presently working on – sewing, knitting, drawing, painting, making jewelry, and anything and everything else craft related. I started making jewelry about three years ago and quickly turned these skills into making pet related jewelry. Because after all, isn’t it perfectly normal to wear paw prints to work every day?!? My little business has been slowly developing as a result of wonderful customers who love their pets just as much as I do. I try to reach a very reasonable and moderate price point and also try to create unique items that can’t be found anywhere else; especially since these items were designed by me to appeal to all you pet lovers out there. And, I’m very meticulous about the quality of my hand made items. In most cases, I purchase jewelry supplies that are made in America. The best part about what I am trying to do with Penny P & Me, is when I have customers who shop my items and smile…there is nothing more satisfying than seeing others have fun with my creations. And lots of times when someone shops with me, I get to pet their dog. What could be better than that?? To the left are my two rat terriers, Perry and Penny. Perry found his way into my heart when he was a seven week old puppy and Penny was rescued from the Memphis Animal Shelter. Both pups are totally spoiled rotten!! I found Perry and Penny at different times, different places – but fell in love with both of them at first sight. Look at those little faces….what’s not to love????
